Bears Team News
Chicago will be short handed in the secondary for this game. The Bears will be without starting safety Eddie Jackson (foot) and starting cornerback Jaylon Johnson (hamstring). Jackson has been out since he picked up that foot injury in week 2 against Tampa Bay.
On offense, the Chase Claypool circus continues. Claypool is listed as ‘other’ on the injury report but we all know that Chicago wants to cut bait with the wide receiver. It has been speculated that the Notre Dame product is on the trade block but with no buyers it’s likely he will be cut from the team sooner rather than later.
The whole Claypool situation has been yet another embarrassment for the Bears as the franchise has become a laughing stock due to poor performances on the field and the chaos surrounding them off of it. Chicago traded a second-round pick for Claypool this off-season.

Commanders vs Bears Prediction & Best Bet
Prediction: Commanders 17 Bears 13
The Commanders should win this game with home advantage, a short week and the Bears being completely dysfunctional. I do think they will win but their inconsistency this season makes me think this game will be a bit closer than what some might expect.
Best Bet: Under 44.5
